The Attack Part 1 trailer promises an action-packed spectacle of a film. The film, also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Rakul Preet Singh, will be released in theatres on April 1. At a press conference to promote Attack, John was asked about The Kashmir Files. The actor warned the media against asking "ghise pite" questions.

John said he hadn’t watched the film and didn’t have anything to say about it. Later, he told the media gathered at the event that he was there to talk about Attack and that only questions related to the film should be asked. He said, "You are asked on the news desk to bring controversy, then you come here and say, ‘Tell us something about The Kashmir Files.’ Why would I do that? "

John was also asked about the overdose of action in his films like Satyameva Jayate 2, which irked him further. John eventually called the person asking the question "dumb" and apologised to everyone on his behalf for his silly comments. He said, "I am talking about Attack. If you have a problem with this, then I am sorry. I really offended you. "

Next, John was asked about his physical fitness, to which he said, "More than physically fit, I am trying to be mentally fit to answer some crazy questions, as people are so dumb." He was referring to the previous question where he was asked about the overdose of action in his films.

Addressing the same person, he went on, "Sorry sir, you left your brain at home. On your behalf, I apologise to everyone. Check these out. Sophie is an action thriller inspired by true events. The trailer showed John transforming into India’s first super-soldier. But, as he becomes the ultimate saviour for his nation, his powers start threatening his life.
