Delhi – BJP MP Praveen Khandelwal has announced the launch of a new initiative aimed at improving the living conditions of slum dwellers in Delhi. Speaking about the newly started membership drive, Khandelwal emphasized the party’s commitment to enhancing the quality of life for those in underserved areas.

Khandelwal introduced the 'Jhuggy Jhopdi Chalo Abhiyan,' a campaign designed to raise awareness about various government schemes that can benefit people living in slums. “I initiated this membership drive in the slums to inform residents about programs that can elevate their living standards,” Khandelwal said. “The BJP has committed to improving the lives of slum dwellers, and that’s why we are launching this campaign today.”

The campaign is part of a broader effort by the BJP to engage with the communities in need and demonstrate the party’s dedication to social upliftment. By focusing on slum areas, the BJP aims to connect with voters and address their specific needs through targeted government schemes.

In addition to discussing the new campaign, Khandelwal addressed concerns about a possible alliance between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and Congress for the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections. Reflecting on previous electoral outcomes, he remarked, “AAP and Congress had an alliance in Delhi during the Lok Sabha elections, but despite that, the BJP won all seven seats in Delhi. I believe their potential alliance in Haryana will not have any significant impact on our party.”

Khandelwal’s statements underscore the BJP’s confidence in its electoral strategy and its commitment to improving conditions for marginalized communities. The 'Jhuggy Jhopdi Chalo Abhiyan' represents a key component of the party’s outreach efforts as it seeks to address local issues and strengthen its presence in Delhi.
