BJP Leader Gaurav Bhatia Accuses Congress of Bias in MUDA Scam

In a sharp attack on the Congress party, BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia has leveled serious allegations regarding the Multi-User Development Authority (MUDA) scam. Speaking to reporters earlier today, Bhatia accused the Congress of double standards and alleged that land belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) communities was improperly allocated to the wife of the Chief Minister.

"We all know about the MUDA scam," Bhatia said during a press conference. "The land of members of the SC/ST community has been taken and allotted to the wife of the Chief Minister. These are all premium plots. The double standards of the Congress get exposed in this situation."

The BJP leader’s comments come amid mounting scrutiny of the MUDA, an organization responsible for urban development and land allocation. The accusations have intensified political debate in the capital, with Bhatia suggesting that the land transfers not only highlight corruption but also reflect preferential treatment within the Congress party.

The Congress has yet to respond formally to Bhatia's allegations. However, party officials have previously defended the administration's land allocation practices, asserting that all procedures followed the necessary legal frameworks and were conducted with transparency.

The MUDA scam has been a point of contention for several months, with various political figures and civil society groups calling for a thorough investigation into the matter. The accusations made by Bhatia are likely to reignite calls for greater accountability and transparency within the MUDA and the Congress government.

As the situation develops, both the BJP and Congress are bracing for intensified scrutiny and political fallout. The public and opposition parties alike are keenly watching how the Congress will address these new allegations and whether any official investigations will be initiated.
