Delhi - The recent controversy surrounding the alleged obscene video of Punjab Minister Balkar Singh has sparked a wave of criticism from various political quarters. Among the vocal critics is BJP leader Shazia Ilmi, who has expressed her disappointment and concern over the incident.

Ilmi pointed out that when the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) was formed, its leader Arvind Kejriwal had assured the public that all members of the party, from the lowest to the highest level, would be of clean character. However, she believes that recent events, including the current controversy, contradict Kejriwal’s claims.

“What the Punjab Minister has done, we cannot even talk about it in a civilised society,” Ilmi said. She expressed her shame and sympathy for the woman involved in the incident, questioning what she must have gone through.

Ilmi called on all people, regardless of their political affiliations and the general public, to question Kejriwal about the incident. She emphasized that this issue should concern everyone who belongs to a civilised society.

The BJP leader also highlighted that the minister in question was not only involved in an inappropriate incident with a 21-year-old girl seeking employment but was also seen in a roadshow of Arvind Kejriwal in Jalandhar.

This incident has once again brought the issue of women’s safety and the conduct of political leaders into the spotlight. It remains to be seen how the AAP and its leadership will respond to these allegations and what actions will be taken to address this serious issue.
