Delhi - Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader, Shivraj Singh Chouhan, has made a series of statements criticizing the Congress party and India’s first Prime Minister, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, while praising the current Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, and Home Minister, Amit Shah.

Chouhan stated, “Today, the entire nation is asking who were the culprits of the partition of India? Congress and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru. Who committed the sin of implementing Article 370? Who created PoK? Congress and Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru.”

He further added, “PM Modi and HM Amit Shah have not only abrogated Article 370 but by implementing CAA, Indian citizenship is granted to those who were being humiliated in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.”

Chouhan’s comments come in the wake of ongoing political debates in the country. His remarks on the partition of India, the implementation of Article 370, and the creation of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) have sparked a new wave of discussions.

The BJP leader also emphasized that “Big issues have been resolved, PoK belongs to India and we will take it back,” indicating the party’s stance on the contentious issue of PoK.

These statements have stirred the political pot, leading to a flurry of reactions from various quarters. It remains to be seen how the Congress party and other political entities respond to these remarks.
