BJP MP Manoj Tiwari Criticizes Delhi CM Atishi Over Leadership Concerns

BJP MP Manoj Tiwari has launched a scathing critique of Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, raising concerns about her commitment to the role following her recent comments that suggested a lack of autonomy in her leadership.

Speaking at a press event, Tiwari stated, “Atishi has taken an oath as the Delhi Chief Minister, and if she shows an empty chair, this raises many questions. This implies that she does not consider herself the Chief Minister.” He further accused Atishi of disrespecting the position, saying, “If she considers someone else as the CM, this amounts to showing disrespect to the CM’s post and the constitution.”

Tiwari revealed that he has written a letter to Atishi but expressed skepticism about its reception, questioning, “Who will read my letter?” He emphasized the implications of her comments, stating, “How can a chief minister say that she is a puppet? They are hurting the sentiments of the public.”

This critique reflects the growing tensions between the BJP and the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) as they prepare for upcoming elections. Tiwari’s remarks underscore the BJP's strategy to portray AAP's leadership as weak and disconnected from the needs of Delhi residents.

As the political landscape evolves, both parties are likely to continue their exchanges, focusing on leadership and governance in the capital.
