Delhi, India — In a fiery statement, Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for what he described as hypocrisy regarding reservation policies. Sachdeva claimed that while Gandhi advocates for reservation within India, he converses about abolishing it when abroad.

“Rahul Gandhi advocates for reservation when he’s in the country but talks about abolishing it when he goes abroad,” Sachdeva remarked, challenging Gandhi to take a definitive stance on the issue. “I dare him to abolish reservation.”

Sachdeva also accused Gandhi of speaking against the Sikh community and the backward classes, suggesting that these remarks stem from political rivalry, particularly given Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s OBC (Other Backward Classes) background. “He speaks against the bravest community of India, the Sikhs, and undermines the backward classes,” Sachdeva said.

In light of these allegations, Sachdeva announced that the BJP has registered a case against Gandhi, although specific details of the charges were not disclosed. The statement has sparked renewed discussions around caste politics and the role of reservation in Indian society, highlighting the ongoing tensions between the BJP and Congress.

As the political landscape heats up ahead of upcoming elections, both parties are expected to intensify their campaigns, with reservation policies likely to remain a key point of contention.
