BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva Responds to Sisodia's Bail: "Bail Doesn't Mean Innocence"

In a significant legal development, the Supreme Court has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Manish Sisodia, who has been at the center of controversy over the alleged liquor policy scam. This decision comes amid ongoing investigations into the case.

Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva has responded to the court's decision with pointed remarks, emphasizing that bail does not equate to innocence. "Getting bail does not mean that someone is not guilty," Sachdeva stated. He underscored that while Sisodia has been granted bail, the investigation into the liquor policy scam is still active. "The BJP has always respected the court's decision," Sachdeva added.

Sachdeva's comments reflect the party's stance that the investigation into the alleged scam, which involves significant accusations of financial misconduct, must continue regardless of bail outcomes. He warned that all individuals implicated, including Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, would be held accountable if found guilty. "A huge scam has been done with the people of Delhi," Sachdeva asserted.

The case has drawn considerable political and public attention, with both the AAP and BJP leveraging the situation to bolster their respective positions. As the investigation progresses, the political landscape in Delhi remains charged, with further developments expected to influence the ongoing debate over governance and accountability.
