In a fiery statement today, Delhi BJP President Virendraa Sachdeva criticized Rahul Gandhi's recent remarks in Parliament, accusing him of insulting Hindus and their religious practices. Sachdeva lambasted Gandhi, alleging that his comments undermine the sanctity of Parliament and disparage the Hindu community.

"Rahul Gandhi has crossed a line by suggesting that those who visit temples are molesters and labeling Hindus as terrorists. Such remarks are not just derogatory but deeply offensive to millions of Hindus who hold their religious beliefs sacred," stated Sachdeva during a press conference.

He further accused Gandhi and his party of using divisive tactics to gain political mileage, especially in the context of the upcoming elections. "It is clear that Rahul Gandhi's motive behind such statements is to secure votes, particularly in Wayanad where his sister Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is contesting," added Sachdeva.

The BJP leader questioned the double standards in criticizing Hindus while avoiding similar remarks about other religions. "Can he say such things about any other religion without facing severe backlash? This selective targeting of Hindus is unacceptable and must be condemned," he emphasized.

Sachdeva concluded by warning of potential repercussions if such statements continue. "The Hindu community will not tolerate insults to their religion and culture. We demand an apology from Rahul Gandhi and urge him to refrain from such divisive rhetoric," he asserted.

Political analysts suggest that such controversies are likely to intensify as India approaches the electoral season, with parties vying for support across diverse religious and cultural demographics.
