Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma Flags Poor Conditions in Paalam, Vows Probe into School Infrastructure

Delhi Minister Parvesh Verma has raised concerns over the deteriorating civic and educational infrastructure in the Paalam constituency, stating that the area reflects the broader mismanagement seen across the national capital.

“Just as Delhi is in a bad state, the Paalam constituency is also facing similar issues as all the drains are filled here,” Verma said during a local inspection. He criticized the lack of upkeep and sanitation in the area, calling it a sign of administrative neglect.

In addition to civic concerns, Verma also pointed to problems in the school infrastructure developed under the previous government. “We will investigate the things related to schools that were built during the last government, as they are not in good condition,” he stated.

The minister’s remarks suggest a possible audit or review of public infrastructure projects, particularly educational institutions, in Paalam and potentially other affected areas across Delhi.
