New Delhi, India - In a recent statement, External Affairs Minister (EAM) Dr S Jaishankar has strongly condemned the misinformation being spread about the Indian Armed Forces. He referred to comments made by Rahul Gandhi, who claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has created two types of soldiers.

“This is a lie, this is a direct attack on our Armed Forces,” said Dr Jaishankar. He expressed concern that such statements aim to create controversy and could potentially undermine the morale of the troops.

Dr Jaishankar emphasized that this is not a matter of elections, but a matter of national security. “The Army is using its full strength for the security of the country against the Chinese,” he added, highlighting the seriousness of the situation.

The EAM has called for the Election Commission to take strict action against such misinformation. He stressed that such incidents should not occur in the future and should be restricted.

“This is not a matter of politics, it is a matter of national security,” Dr Jaishankar reiterated. He urged all parties to respect the integrity and dedication of the Armed Forces and refrain from making unfounded statements that could harm the nation’s security.

The EAM’s comments come at a time when the country is facing multiple security challenges, and the role of the Armed Forces is more critical than ever. It remains to be seen how the Election Commission will respond to this call for action.
