The Delhi Police has captured a group of nine individuals, including its chief, for supposedly coercing around 20 crore from a Mumbai-based money manager subsequent to sending him a formal Requirement Directorate summons, authorities said on Thursday.

The charged evidently took motivation from the famous Bollywood film "Exceptional 26," they said.

Ravindra Singh Yadav, Unique Magistrate of Police (Wrongdoing Branch), said the accused sent two such notifications to Hardev Singh, leader of Nippon India Paints Ltd., and persuaded him that the government organisation had enrolled a body of evidence against him.
