India-Germany Foreign Office Consultations Foster Bilateral Cooperation

The Ministry of External Affairs of India has announced that the India-Germany Foreign Office Consultations (FOC) were successfully held today in New Delhi. The meeting, co-chaired by Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri from India and State Secretary Thomas Bagger from the Auswärtiges Amt (German Federal Foreign Office), marked a significant step in strengthening bilateral ties between the two nations.

In a tweet, the Ministry highlighted that the discussions during the FOC encompassed a wide spectrum of bilateral cooperation. Key areas covered included trade, investment, science and technology, defense collaboration, green and sustainable development partnerships, emerging technology sectors, as well as fostering people-to-people exchanges between India and Germany.
