Addressing the media, Shekhawat shared his vision for harnessing the tourism sector as a key driver in propelling India to the status of the world’s third-largest economy.

“The tourism sector is going to be a major factor in making India the third largest economy,” Shekhawat stated, underscoring the immense potential of tourism as an economic catalyst. With a focus on collaborative efforts, he expressed his commitment to working closely with state governments to amplify India’s appeal as a premier global tourist destination. “With the support of states, tourism in India will be increased,” he affirmed.

Shekhawat also acknowledged the transformative leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose policies and initiatives have significantly altered international perceptions of India. “Under the leadership of PM Modi, the World’s perspective towards India has changed,” he observed, attributing this shift to Modi’s dynamic governance and diplomatic outreach.

The minister further elaborated on his plans to align with PM Modi’s vision for India’s cultural and tourism development. He emphasized the importance of showcasing India’s rich cultural heritage and diverse landscapes to attract tourists from around the globe. “We will work together according to PM Modi’s vision,” Shekhawat declared, indicating a concerted effort to integrate cultural preservation with tourism promotion.

By leveraging its cultural assets and natural beauty, India aims to create a sustainable and inclusive tourism industry that contributes to job creation, regional development, and international goodwill.

As the nation embarks on this ambitious journey, Shekhawat’s leadership in the Ministry of Culture & Tourism will be instrumental in realizing these goals. With a clear roadmap and collaborative spirit, India is set to unlock the full potential of its tourism sector, thereby reinforcing its position as an emerging economic powerhouse on the world stage.
