Kiren Rijiju Says All Parties United Behind Government's Strong Stand on Terrorism

Union Minister Kiren Rijiju, addressing the media after the all-party meeting convened in the wake of the Pahalgam terror attack, stated that the meeting was “very successful” and showcased unanimous political support for the government's actions against terrorism.

Rijiju emphasized that the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) briefed leaders on the measures taken with regard to Pakistan, and noted that there was complete consensus among political parties in supporting the Centre’s stance. “The Prime Minister and the government have made it clear — there will be zero tolerance towards terrorist activities,” Rijiju stated.

He added that all political leaders present at the meeting expressed solidarity with the government for its current and future actions aimed at defending national security. The show of unity sends a strong message both domestically and internationally, underscoring that India stands united in the fight against terrorism, regardless of political affiliations.
