According to the ministry sources, raising the 'Sectional Speed' to 160 kmph is proposed on the New Delhi-Mumbai Route (including Vadodara-Ahmedabad) and the New Delhi-Howrah Route (including Kanpur-Lucknow) to reduce the travel time.
