Amid the fluctuation in gold and silver rates across the country, the price of 24-carat gold per gramme has reached Rs 52,500 on Saturday in the twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, with a fall of Rs 200 from yesterday’s price.

For 23-carat gold, the price of 10 grammes of yellow metal is Rs 50,700, while the rate of 22-carat gold has reached Rs 49,600. Similarly, the rate of 20, 18 and 14-carat gold remained at Rs 44,800, Rs 40,600 and Rs 32,200, respectively, while pure Ginni (gold coin) is being traded at Rs 40,900.

On the other hand, one kilogramme of silver is being sold at Rs 63,400 (with GST) in Bhubaneswar.

Notably, the price of gold varies in different regions based on certain parameters such as the excise duty, making charges, and state taxes.
