PM Modi Celebrates Milestones and Future Potential at Asia Pacific Civil Aviation Conference

At the Asia Pacific Ministerial Conference on Civil Aviation held at Bharat Mandapam, Prime Minister Narendra Modi underscored the significant strides made by the civil aviation sector, both in India and across the Asia Pacific region. Addressing an audience of industry leaders and experts, Modi highlighted the ongoing evolution of the aviation sector and its role in fostering connectivity and economic growth.

“In a way, the brightest minds of the Civil Aviation Sector are amongst us here,” Modi remarked, praising the collective expertise present at the conference. He emphasized that this gathering reflects the commitment and potential of the Asia Pacific region in shaping the future of global aviation.

Modi took the opportunity to acknowledge the 80-year legacy of the conference’s organizing body, noting the milestone with a nod to a unique initiative spearheaded under the guidance of Minister Kinjarapu Rammohan Naidu. “This organization has completed its 80 years of journey,” Modi said, “and a big initiative of planting 80,000 trees, in honor of mothers, was undertaken as part of the celebration.” The initiative symbolizes both the growth and the enduring impact of the organization’s efforts over the decades.

In his address, Modi also highlighted the rapid development of India’s aviation sector, calling it one of the fastest-growing sectors in the country’s economy. “Our aviation sector is one of the sectors that have become the fastest-growing economies in India,” he stated. He emphasized the sector’s role in connecting people, cultures, and fostering prosperity across the region.

As the conference continues, the focus remains on leveraging the expertise and innovations of the aviation sector to address future challenges and opportunities. Modi’s remarks underscore the significant progress made while reaffirming the commitment to furthering connectivity and economic development through aviation.
