Prime Minister Narendra Modi chaired the 10th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog at Bharat Mandapam today, with Chief Ministers and Lieutenant Governors from 24 states and 7 Union Territories in attendance.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in remembrance of the victims of the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam, reflecting a moment of national solidarity.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister emphasized that the dream of a Viksit Bharat (Developed India) is not limited to any political party but represents the collective aspiration of 140 crore Indians. “If all states work together towards this goal, then we will make stupendous progress,” he said.

Reaffirming his vision for inclusive development, PM Modi urged a nationwide commitment: “We should commit that every state, every city, every village will be developed, and then Viksit Bharat will be achieved much before 2047.”

The NITI Aayog meeting served as a platform for Centre-State collaboration on critical national objectives, with a strong push for synergy in development planning and execution.
