The Covid vaccination certificates issued within the 5 poll-sure states will not have Prime Minister Narendra Modi's photograph for the reason that the model code of conduct has come into force there, legitimate assets stated on Sunday, January nine.

The Union Health Ministry has carried out the necessary filters on the Co-WIN platform to exclude Modi's photo from the vaccine certificate, a source stated. According to sources, the filters were applied on Saturday night, soon after the ballot agenda was introduced.

Assembly elections in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Manipur, and Goa may be held between February 10 and March 7 in seven phases with the counting of votes on March 10, the Election Commission announced on Saturday.

With the announcement of the time table, the Model Code of Conduct for governments, applicants, and political parties has come under pressure.

"The health ministry has applied essential filters on the CoWIN platform to exclude the photo of the top minister from the COVID-19 certificate being given to humans in these five poll-sure states because of the model code of conduct coming under pressure, "a legitimate supply told PTI."

Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Puducherry had taken a comparable initiative at some stage in the polls held in Assam, Kerala, Tamil Nadu, West Bengal, and Puducherry, as cautioned by the Election Commission following lawsuits raised by a few political parties.

Announcing the month-long election agenda, the Election Commission has banned physical rallies and roadshows till January 15 due to COVID concerns.

Chief Election Commissioner Sushil Chandra stated the ban on rallies, roadshows, nukkad sabhas, padayatras, and car rallies could be reviewed on January 15. In all, elections may be held for 690 meeting seats, and 18.3 crore humans, together with 8.5 crore girls, might be eligible to cast their votes in the five states.
