PM Narendra Modi Attends Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat Programme in Delhi

New Delhi - Prime Minister Narendra Modi participated in the Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat programme held in Delhi, marking a significant step towards women empowerment and technological advancement in the country.

The programme, aimed at empowering women and developing India, witnessed the demonstration of agricultural drones across the nation by the Namo Drone Didis. This initiative is a testament to the government’s commitment to integrating technology into the agricultural sector and recognizing the pivotal role of women in this transformation.

In a significant move, drones were handed over to 1,000 Namo Drone Didis, symbolizing the government’s trust in women’s capabilities and their potential to revolutionize the agricultural sector with technology.

Moreover, the government announced financial support worth Rs. 10,000 crore for Self Help Groups (SHGs). This substantial financial aid will be provided either as bank loans or through the Capitalization Support Fund. This initiative is expected to provide a significant boost to these groups, enabling them to contribute more effectively to India’s socio-economic development.

The Sashakt Nari-Viksit Bharat programme, with its focus on women empowerment and technological advancement, is a significant stride towards a more inclusive and developed India.
