Shehzad Poonawalla Slams Congress for Questioning Operation Sindoor

BJP national spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla has strongly criticized the Congress party for raising doubts over the Indian armed forces' recent anti-terror operation, dubbed Operation Sindoor. Speaking in Delhi, Poonawalla said that the attack was carried out on terrorist camps in Pakistan, and proof of the operation is now available publicly, including videos from Pakistan itself.

He stated that while the entire country and the world are praising the armed forces for successfully destroying nine terrorist camps, it is Congress that is showing disbelief. “It is sad that when the entire country, Pahalgam victims, and every rational thinker are supporting the armed forces, Congress is once again asking for proof,” he said.

Poonawalla accused Congress leaders like Rashid Alvi, Jignesh Mevani, and even the party’s official Twitter handle of speaking in the same tone as Pakistan. He compared the current response to Congress's past reactions after the surgical strike and the Balakot airstrike, where the party had also asked for evidence.

Calling Congress the “official content creator of Pakistan,” Poonawalla said such actions damage the morale of the armed forces. “This is nothing new for Congress,” he added, stating that the party has repeatedly questioned the bravery and integrity of India’s military forces.
