Union Minister Giriraj Singh has strongly criticized Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Lok Sabha, calling his leadership a "misfortune" for the country. Singh’s remarks come amid escalating tensions between the ruling BJP and the Congress party, with sharp exchanges highlighting the ongoing political discord.

In a recent statement, Singh condemned Gandhi’s conduct both inside and outside Parliament. "I believe it is the country's misfortune that Rahul Gandhi holds the position of Leader of Opposition," Singh said. "Not only does he propagate falsehoods within Parliament, but he is also spreading disinformation outside it."

Singh’s criticism extended to Gandhi’s approach to political discourse, accusing him of focusing unduly on caste issues. "He seems to be obsessed with questioning the caste of everyone," Singh remarked. "This behavior is not only unbecoming of a leader but also detrimental to national unity."

Singh's comments reflect the heightened political animosity and criticism directed at Gandhi amid a charged electoral and legislative environment. The remarks underscore the contentious nature of current political debates and the divisions that continue to shape Indian politics.
