Delhi, India - Union Minister Hardeep Singh Puri launched a scathing attack on the Delhi government and Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, accusing them of hypocrisy and corruption.

Puri criticized the Delhi government for its previous stance on the issue of air pollution in the city. “When it was hard to breathe in Delhi, they used to blame Punjab for stubble burning. Now their government is in Punjab, who do they blame then?” he questioned, referring to the Aam Aadmi Party’s recent electoral victory in Punjab.

The Union Minister also took a dig at Kejriwal’s anti-corruption stance. “When he joined politics, he claimed they were starting a movement against corruption. Today, they have joined whom? - the most corrupt party,” Puri said, without specifying the party he was referring to.

Puri further alleged that Kejriwal had been issued nine summons but did not respond to any of them. “Leave Arvind Kejriwal, his time is limited,” he added, hinting at a potential political downfall for the Delhi Chief Minister.

The comments from Puri come amidst a heated political climate, with the Aam Aadmi Party expanding its footprint beyond Delhi. The party’s recent victory in Punjab has been seen as a significant political development, and it remains to be seen how these allegations will impact the party’s image and future prospects.
