Union Minister JP Nadda Commemorates Kargil Vijay Diwas, Highlights Valor and Sacrifice

Delhi: Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda delivered a stirring address at the Kargil Vijay Rajat Jayanti Samaroh in Delhi, marking the 25th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Nadda’s remarks paid tribute to the valor of the Indian Armed Forces and the sacrifices made by soldiers during the 1999 Kargil War.

In his speech, Nadda emphasized the significance of the victory achieved 25 years ago, stating, "This victory was of India's valour and pride." He underscored the historical importance of the conflict, reflecting on the courage displayed by Indian soldiers in one of the most challenging situations faced by the nation.

The Union Minister highlighted the sacrifices made by the soldiers, saying, "Today, we also remember the soldiers who lost their lives during this war. Those bravehearts sacrificed their lives and protected the country. These bravehearts fought a major fight in a very difficult situation." His words resonated with the spirit of remembrance and respect for the soldiers who demonstrated exceptional bravery and commitment.

Kargil Vijay Diwas is observed annually to commemorate the successful conclusion of Operation Vijay, where Indian forces secured victory against Pakistani troops in the Kargil sector. The day serves as a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made by soldiers and the valor that ensured the protection of India's sovereignty.
