Union Minister Ramdas Athawale has expressed his gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking decisive action under Operation Sindoor in response to Pakistan's ongoing cross-border terrorism. Athawale stated, “I thank PM Modi for taking this big step. Pakistan has been infiltrating for many years, and firing in Kashmir has been a constant threat. Operation Sindoor has shaken Pakistan, and our army has taught them a lesson."

Athawale further emphasized that Pakistan must understand the consequences of its actions. “If Pakistan keeps doing such acts again and again, it will be answered. If Pakistan truly wants peace, they should stop supporting terrorism and hand over Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) to India,” he added.

The Union Minister’s remarks reflect the ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan, with India asserting its right to respond firmly to any threats from its neighbor. Athawale’s support for the PM’s stance highlights the broad consensus within the Indian government to confront terrorism head-on while making it clear that peace will only be possible if Pakistan takes tangible steps to end its support for militant activities.
