Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has reaffirmed India’s commitment to national security while highlighting the government’s preparedness to maintain food security during these challenging times. Speaking on the recent counter-terror operations, Chouhan emphasized that India's military actions were precise and responsible.

“We will not spare the terrorists; we attacked the terror hotspots but not the civilians,” Chouhan said, underlining the country’s focus on safeguarding innocent lives while eliminating threats.

Shifting focus to his role as Agriculture Minister, Chouhan reassured the nation about the strength of India's food supply chain. “As the agriculture department, our responsibility is to ensure food security. Our agricultural reserves are full. Whether wheat, rice or other grains, we have sufficient quantities,” he said.

He emphasized the importance of maintaining productivity and supporting farmers during this period. “The soldiers are posted on the border, and the scientists are with the farmers in the fields... It is our responsibility to work with the farmers in the fields and increase production,” he added.

Chouhan’s comments aim to inspire confidence in both national defense and food security, affirming that the government is working on all fronts to protect and sustain the country.
