Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya Launches Khelo India Para Games 2025

Delhi, India – The second edition of the Khelo India Para Games 2025 was officially launched by Union Sports Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi today. The prestigious event, aimed at providing a platform for para-athletes to showcase their talents, will see the participation of over 1,300 para-athletes from across the country.

In his address at the launch, Mandaviya expressed his enthusiasm for the event and highlighted the significance of the Khelo India initiative in promoting sports and providing opportunities for athletes, especially those with disabilities. “The second edition of Khelo India Para Games started today at Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Delhi. More than 1300 para-athletes will participate in it. The Khelo India platform gives a great opportunity for the players of the country to compete within the country,” said Mandaviya.

The Khelo India Para Games, a part of the larger Khelo India initiative launched by the government to identify and nurture sporting talent at the grassroots level, has become an important event in India's sporting calendar. The games provide an inclusive platform for para-athletes, ensuring that they receive the recognition and exposure they deserve while motivating them to excel in their respective sports.
