Krishna Nagar, a gold medalist at the Tokyo Paralympics, once again demonstrated his outstanding performance at the international level, winning one silver and two bronze medals at the British and Irish Para-Badminton International held in Dublin.
Krishna won a silver medal in the mixed doubles SH6 category alongside Nithya Sre, while securing a bronze medal in the men’s doubles SH6 event with Sivarajan Solaimalai. He also won a bronze medal in the men’s singles SH6 category, thereby concluding a magnificent campaign with a total of three medals.
These results underscore Krishna’s consistency and versatility in both singles and doubles events, as he maintains his rhythm ahead of the season’s major international tournaments.
He said, “I am happy to conclude the tournament with three medals. Every international event gives me the opportunity to test my game and work on areas that need improvement. While there have been many positives to take from this performance, my focus remains on improving with every tournament and preparing myself for upcoming major competitions. I thank my coach, support staff, and everyone who continues to place their trust in me.” (Telangana Today)
