Delhi: Admissions for the 2026-27 college year are now open at Delhi Skills and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU). Registration has begun for several job- and industry-related courses offered at its various campuses across Delhi. The university has stated that students seeking college admission after completing their 12th grade can now fill out online forms.
This year, DSEU is offering a total of 44 undergraduate courses, excluding B.Tech. Several diploma and certificate courses have also been introduced to help students find jobs and learn on the job. The university has aligned its curriculum with the new National Education Policy (NEP 2020). This provides students with more options and the ability to drop out if needed (receiving a certificate or diploma).
According to admission details released by the university, the available programmes include nine one-year certificate courses, four two-year diploma courses, five three-year bachelor’s programmes and 26 four-year undergraduate degree courses. Several programmes also include an optional exit after three years under the NEP framework.
A major highlight of the admission cycle is the launch of an integrated BTech-MTech programme in emerging technologies with an intake of 60 seats. University officials said the registration schedule for this specialised programme will be announced separately.
The university has announced 2,740 seats across undergraduate degree programmes, while diploma and certificate courses together account for thousands of additional seats. Delhi Skill and Entrepreneurship University (DSEU) also offers 4,190 diploma seats, showing its ongoing commitment to teaching technical and job skills.
Students applying for undergraduate courses can complete the process entirely online through the official admission portal. The last date to apply for diploma courses is May 25, while registrations for undergraduate programmes will remain open until June 13. The application fee for UG programmes has been fixed at ₹1,500, whereas applicants for BTech-related courses will have to pay ₹2,000.
Following Delhi government rules, the university reserves 27% of seats for OBC (non-creamy layer), 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, and 10% for EWS candidates, along with a 5% reserved seats and rule exemptions for people with disabilities and other eligible groups.
The Delhi government set up DSEU to focus on real-world skills and business, rather than just studying books in a classroom. Their courses make sure students learn by doing through internships, hands-on workshops, and direct experience working with businesses.
DSEU’s focus on job-ready courses shows that students now prefer career skills over traditional degrees. University officials suggest students regularly check DSEU website for programme updates, merit lists, and counselling schedules.
