Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 Begins in Delhi Tomorrow; 200+ Stalls to Showcase Tribal Heritage

New Delhi: The Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 is set to begin in the national capital from March 18, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and entrepreneurial spirit of India’s tribal communities.

The festival is being organised by the Tribal Cooperative Marketing Development Federation of India (TRIFED) at Sunder Nursery and will continue till March 30, 2026.


Union Minister Jual Oram to Inaugurate Fest

Union Tribal Affairs Minister Jual Oram will inaugurate the festival, which aims to promote tribal art, culture, and livelihood opportunities on a national platform.


Over 200 Stalls and 300 Artisans to Participate

The Bharat Tribes Fest 2026 will feature:

  • 200+ stalls

  • Representation from 78 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras (VDVKs)

  • Participation of over 300 tribal artisans from across India

Visitors will get an opportunity to explore a wide range of tribal products, including handicrafts, textiles, and traditional items.


Platform for Tribal Entrepreneurship and Culture

The festival is designed to provide tribal communities with direct market access while showcasing their traditional skills and craftsmanship.

It also highlights the government’s efforts to:

  • Promote tribal entrepreneurship

  • Support self-reliance among tribal communities

  • Preserve indigenous art and culture

Bharat Tribes Fest serves as a key platform to connect tribal producers with urban consumers, helping improve income opportunities and create awareness about India’s diverse tribal heritage.
