BJP MP Manoj Tiwari had complained about the situation, and Saxena had permitted the ACB to look into it. Sisodia referred to the complaint as frivolous and asserted that the L-G lacked the power to authorise the probe. Sisodia had written that "you are bulldozing the law simply to favour the BJP."

Additional bulletproof vests have been authorised for CISF troops working with VIP protection in Delhi Metro.
