Asian stocks opened higher on Monday, matching Wall Street advances, but early trade was choppy, with gains largely restricted as investors watched events in Ukraine and China's COVID-19 lockdowns. The MSCI Asia-Pacific stock index outside of Japan was up 0.35 percent.

In Q4FY22, HDFC Bank's advances increased by 21%.

Retail loans increased by 15% on March 31, 2021, and 5% on December 31, 2021, according to the bank's internal business classification. Corporate and other wholesale loans climbed 17.5 percent y-o-y and 11.5 percent sequentially, while commercial and rural banking loans expanded 30.5 percent y-o-y and 10% sequentially.
