Delhi Minister Manjinder Singh Sirsa has welcomed the Indian government's decision to ban 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, calling it a "good step" towards curbing misinformation and propaganda. "They should be banned. First, they kill innocent people on the basis of religion, and then they spread lies to cover it up," Sirsa said.

He criticized individuals within India who, according to him, sympathize with such actions. Referring to a statement by Naresh Tikait advocating for providing water to Pakistanis, Sirsa lashed out, saying, "They bleed us, and we should provide them with water? He is a traitor under the mask of a farmer. If this had happened in his family, would he have endured it?"

Sirsa further highlighted the anger among Punjab’s farmers, mentioning that they have openly said on television that they would prioritize national pride over even their crops if necessary. "This is what patriotism looks like," he emphasized.

Sirsa’s remarks come amid heightened national outrage following the recent Pahalgam terror attack, where several innocent lives were lost, and amid a broader call for strict action against misinformation and terror sympathizers.
