New Delhi: Indian weightlifter Mirabai Chanu won the silver medal in the women’s 49kg weightlifting event, earning praise from Prime Minister Narendra Modi for her strong performance and continued contribution to Indian sport.
Congratulating Chanu on her achievement, Prime Minister Modi said that her determination and consistency continue to inspire the nation, and India is proud of her. He also extended his best wishes to the weightlifter for her future endeavours.
