Union Minister of State for Railways Ravneet Singh Bittu on Monday expressed gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw for supporting the initiative.

“I thank PM Modi, HM Amit Shah and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw… Railways have made a small effort: a train will leave from Old Delhi Railway Station on 22, 23, 24, and 25 November at 7 AM. It will reach Shri Anandpur Sahib… It has 17 coaches and is a fully AC train,” Bittu said.

In addition, he announced a second special service from Bihar. “A special train with 22 coaches will depart from Patna Sahib on 23 November at 6:40 and arrive at Shri Anandpur Sahib at 4:15 the next day,” he added.

The move aims to accommodate thousands of pilgrims expected to visit the historic site associated with the revered Sikh Guru. Indian Railways has enhanced capacity, comfort, and frequency to ensure smooth travel during the commemorative events.
