MEA Confirms High-Level Talks on Bangladesh Between EAM Jaishankar and UK Foreign Secretary

The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has confirmed that Indian External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar recently held a significant discussion with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy. MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal provided details about the high-level conversation in a statement today.

“External Affairs Minister had a conversation with Foreign Secretary David Lammy just a few hours back,” Jaiswal revealed. He noted that the discussion primarily focused on recent developments in Bangladesh as well as broader issues concerning West Asia. “The two leaders spoke about the developments in Bangladesh and West Asia,” Jaiswal added.

This dialogue reflects ongoing diplomatic engagement between India and the United Kingdom on critical regional issues. The conversation underscores the importance of collaborative discussions on international developments, particularly in areas experiencing significant political and social changes.
