According to the India Meteorological Department’s (IMD) local forecast, thunderstorms and rain are likely in the NCR over the next three days. Although the weather department has not issued any specific warning at this stage, a significant drop in temperature is expected due to the rain and strong winds.

Rain and Strong Winds Expected Over the Next Three Days

According to the weather department, the maximum temperature on June 19 is forecast to be 41°C, with a minimum of 27°C. Stormy conditions and rainfall are likely during this period. Humidity levels are expected to range between a maximum of 60% and a minimum of 45%.

4-Degree Drop in Temperature on June 20

The weather is expected to become more pleasant on June 20. The maximum temperature is likely to drop by 4 degrees, reaching 37°C, while the minimum temperature is forecast to be 28°C. Thunderstorms accompanied by rain are also likely on this day. Humidity levels may range from a maximum of 65% to a minimum of 45%.

Relief to Continue on June 21

Similar weather conditions are expected to persist on June 21. The maximum temperature may settle at 37°C, with a minimum of 29°C. Rain and cloudy skies will provide relief from the heat. Humidity levels on this day are forecast to range between a maximum of 70% and a minimum of 50%.

Signs of Reduced Rainfall from June 22

According to the weather department, rainfall activity may decrease slightly starting June 22, with the sky remaining partly cloudy. The maximum temperature is forecast to be 38°C, and the minimum 30°C. Humidity levels may range from a maximum of 70% to a minimum of 40%. Temperatures May Rise Again by the Weekend

On June 23, the maximum temperature is likely to be 39°C and the minimum 29°C. The Meteorological Department has forecast partly cloudy skies for the day. Meanwhile, temperatures may see a slight rise again on June 24; the maximum temperature is expected to reach 40°C, with a minimum of 31°C. However, cloudy conditions will persist, and the weather will remain relatively normal.

Weather to Fluctuate Over the Coming Week

Weather experts state that the weather in the NCR will continue to fluctuate over the next week. Intermittent rain, strong winds, and cloud cover will help mitigate the impact of the heat. Notably, compared to the 41°C recorded on June 19, the maximum temperature could drop to 37°C within the next 24 hours, offering people relief of 4 to 5 degrees.
