India to Attend Swearing-In Ceremony of Bangladesh's New Interim Government

As Bangladesh prepares for the swearing-in ceremony of its new interim government, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) has confirmed that India will be represented at the event. MEA Spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal addressed media inquiries today, providing details about the anticipated ceremony and India's participation.

“I saw reports that the swearing-in ceremony is to be held this evening. I don't know the exact time, somewhere around 8 o'clock,” Jaiswal said. He indicated that members of the diplomatic community have been invited to the ceremony, reflecting its significance on the international stage.

Jaiswal also noted that it is likely that India’s High Commissioner to Bangladesh will attend the event. “Diplomatic community members have been invited. It is likely that our High Commissioner will participate,” he added.
